The 401K Building


The 401K Building is set to be completed in the Fall of 2019. We are excited about the opportunity to expand our ministry efforts using this facility.  There are at least three primary functions for the building:

1.  To close the GAP by discipling people who are distant from God into a personal relationship.
2. To  effectively expand our YOUTH/YOUNG  ADULT MINISTRY at Zion Christian Ministries.
3. To  provide a place of service for our community.

Below is a list of special considerations for the 401K Building that will require volunteers, donations, and attendance. Please read each item carefully. 
VOLUNTEER

Sunday Morning Youth Classes

If we operate at full capacity on Sunday Morning we will have 3 or 4 classrooms running at once. Each class will follow the same curriculum, but the lesson will be geared for the class age. If possible class sizes will be no bigger than 15-20.

Sunday Morning Volunteers Needed

Each class will need 1 teacher and 1 Assistant. Assistants can be adult or teens. We would need at least 24 people per month or 30 on months with 5 Sundays. We  would like to create a 3 month schedule for when the building opens which means we need at least 50 volunteers who are not already on the teaching rotation. If you are unable to teach on Sunday’s, but willing to help on Wednesday we need you too!

Wednesday Night Youth Classes

Same setup above that will use 3-4 classrooms running at once.We may add a meal back on Wednesday nights, but we will need a team and meal planning in place so that it doesn’t fall on once person.

Wednesday Night Volunteer

I believe that we have a lot of people in our congregation that can offer many life skills to our youth. Wednesday nights will be a combination of Sunday recap or enrichment classes.
